Ballinteer Community School, commonly known as BCS opened in 1974. Located south County Dublin, serves boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 years.

The school campus was renovated and a new building was officially opened in October 2008. The Director David O'Connell was appointed in December 2010.

Ballinteer Community School is dedicated to providing quality education to their students.
The school is dedicated to the delivery of strong moral values​​, love of learning, concern for others, and the skills needed to lead purposeful and meaningful lives in their community.
The values ​​of the school are Christians, and promote an inclusive, so that students of all religious traditions have a strong belief in faith as well as intellectual curiosity and religious commitment, and will deepen their knowledge.
