Presentation College Terenure - Dublin
Located in Terenure, Dublin 6W, Presentation College is a post-primary school for girls under the auspices of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committe. Presentation College is committed to success, raising expectations, providing opportunities and striving to meet the needs of all its students.
The school values the talents and abilities of our students both within and outside the classroom situation. Students are encouraged to become involved in activities and to help out or participate in various school events. This enhances the student’s experience of school and promotes self-confidence and self-esteem.
The extra-curricular programme offered at Presentation College is an important aspect of the life of the school. Students are encouraged to participate in sporting, cultural and other extra or co-curricular activities; by doing so, positive relations are forged between students themselves and between students and staff.
Some of the activities currently on offer : athletics, badminton, basketball, soccer, volleyball, college choir, debating (French), díospoireacht (Gaeilge), Gaisce award participation, (Transition Year), art/craft/design competitions, foreign language film trips/studies, student exchanges in France, educational tours in Ireland and abroad, Build a Bank initiative with A.I.B. Terenure etc.
