Sandford Park School Ltd - Dublin
Founded in 1922, Sandford Park is a small and distinctive private co-educational day school with 250 students, aged between 12-18 years. It is situated on 2.5 hectares of secluded and beautiful wooded grounds, close to Dublin’s city centre. The non-denominational nature of the school is central to its unique character and draws pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds, countries and cultures together in a secure and intellectually stimulating environment.
Our mission is to equip our students with the skills to enable them to think creatively, reason critically and communicate effectively. We accomplish this by fostering a love of learning, a respect for cultural diversity and a strong home/school partnership. We focus on the needs of each individual student and encourage him/her to exceed his/her potential, both inside and outside the classroom, so that they will acquire the self-confidence and personal attributes necessary to succeed in whatever walk of life they pursue.
Sandford Park’s classrooms are modern and well-equipped. Each room has a Smart Whiteboard, which allows the subject teacher to deliver creative and stimulating lessons. The majority of teachers are based in a single classroom, allowing them to make the room their own with subject-themed wall-work, creating an invigorating environment for the learner. With plenty of natural light, the classrooms of Sandford Park make, for the student, an excellent place in which to learn.
The school counts also with Science Labs, I.T. Lab, Music Centre, Art Room, Multi-Purpose Hall, Dining Room, Staff Resource Centre.
