Wesley College - Dublin
One of Ireland’s premier schools, Wesley College was founded in 1845 on St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin. In 1969 it relocated to Ballinteer where it is situated close to the Dublin Mountains.
The College is a Methodist Foundation but welcomes students of all faiths. Wesley is a co-educational College accommodating boarding and day students in a vibrant school community.
Boarding students at Wesley College have always benefited from the passion and commitment of their staff. This has been a tradition in Wesley and today our values remain as strong. We aim to provide boarders with a sound foundation to develop as young people – in confidence, independence, responsibility and community spirit.
With over 35 members of staff living on campus, Wesley offers a level of supervision that is unrivalled. Our commitment is to a home-from-home experience for all our boarders, with flexible 5 and 7 day boarding options.
Having started as a boys’ school the College became co-educational in 1911. There is accommodation for up to 900 pupils, with boarding facilities for up to 90 boys and 90 girls. While it is the policy of the College to give priority to accepting pupils of Methodist and other Protestant denominations, those of other traditions and faiths are welcome.
