St Colmcille’s is a co-educational, 2nd level school established in the year 2000 on a greenfield site on the Scholarstown Road in the heart of Knocklyon. The vision of this community in seeking a 2nd level school was to retain its most valuable asset, its young people, in the local area.
They are truly belssed that the Carmelite community committed to be trustees of our school and They value their vision and spiritual guidance in developing our ethos. Their continued partnership with us contributes significantly to the quality of the educational experience here at St. Colmcille’s.

Our students achieve high levels of success in the State Examinations and our past pupils are They l represented in a wide range of 3rd level courses and careers. They strongly encourage students and parents to become involved in the social, cultural, spiritual, intellectual and sporting life of the school.
